Are you interested in assisting our Natural Resources staff in monitoring our local lands? Our Community Lands Ranger program has evolved into Monthly Monitoring Days. This is a new program designed to monitor MDLT’s Morongo Basin Preserves for any changes to the land. On every second Wednesday of the month, we will be recruiting volunteers from this specific corps of volunteers to hike long distances cross-country with dramatic elevation change and uneven terrain. Some properties will also require volunteers to scramble over rocks. This volunteer opportunity is highly strenuous and requires a high level of fitness and comfortability in remote areas.
