The Mojave Desert Land Trust plays an important role in preserving public lands by acquiring and transferring parcels to our federal partners. Since 2006, MDLT has conveyed more tracts of land to the National Park Service than any other nonprofit.
Public support is crucial to the management of National Park Service lands. MDLT is proud to serve as a partner to Joshua Tree National Park in the effort to preserve and protect the scenic, natural, and cultural resources of the Colorado and Mojave Deserts’ rich biological and geological diversity, cultural history, wilderness, recreational values, and opportunities for education and scientific study.
Please consider supporting our fellow partner organizations whose missions are aligned with the protection and preservation of all that makes this area unique.
