Joshua Tree, CA – The Mojave Desert Land Trust has launched a new logo, coinciding with its conservation of 80,000 acres in the California desert since 2006. It comes at a time when a number of initiatives are being introduced, including an updated membership program.

The new logo is an evolution of the previous design and still reflects the broad vistas and native flora that the Mojave Desert Land Trust strives to protect. The name, Mojave Desert Land Trust, is now fully incorporated into the design.

The updated logo is adaptable and works equally across digital and physical channels and different formats. The refreshed and modern design is bolder and incorporates fewer colors. The Joshua tree is now in the foreground to reflect the Land Trust’s deepened conservation mission.

The Mojave Desert Land Trust has continued to grow since the last design. It has reached major conservation milestones, acquiring over 80,000 acres in the California desert, and donating more tracts of land to the National Park Service than any nonprofit nationally. The Mojave Desert Seed Bank has over 600 collections, and the Land Trust's educational programs are reaching new audiences.

About the Mojave Desert Land Trust

The Mojave Desert Land Trust (MDLT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to protect and care for lands with natural, scenic, and cultural value within the Mojave Desert. Since its founding in 2006 the land trust has conserved over 80,000 acres, donating more tracts of land to the National Park Service in the last decade than any other organization.
