Voice: It’s time to care for (and properly fund) our national conservation lands

I recently went camping in the Mojave Trails National Monument, a 1.6 million-acre paradise in the California Desert. From there, it’s a short drive to the Mojave National Preserve. I am always struck by these unique landscapes — the preserve has the largest Joshua tree forest on earth. It was sobering to see the aftermath of last year's Dome Fire, which destroyed about 25% of the forest.Read more here.
