The statement is the first from the Department of the Interior’s review of the national monuments after April’s Executive Order.“Secretary Zinke’s recommendation demonstrates the administration’s willingness to play political games with our public lands,” commented Frazier Haney, Conservation Director, MDLT. “Bears Ears is unquestionably beautiful and sacred.
