Youth Conservation Corps Opportunities
Ages 15–18: Interest areas: conservation work projects and environmental education programs.
Pathways for Students and Recent Graduates
The Pathways Program offers federal internship and employment opportunities for current students, recent graduates and those with an advanced degree.
An opportunity for young adults, ages 16-25, to work on conservation projects on public lands.
A paid opportunity that allows students to work at the BLM while enrolled in school on a full- or half-time basis.
DOI Secretarial Direct Hire Authority for the Resource Assistant Internship Program
An 11-week internship program for current students or recent grads, with attention to minority serving institutions, veterans, women, and individuals with disabilities.

U.S. Department of the Interior:
The DOI conserves and manages the Nation’s natural resources; it is the Cabinet-level agency that manages nine technical bureaus (NPS, USGS, BLM, etc.). Pathways streamlines developmental programs tailored to promote employment opportunities for students and recent graduates within the Federal workforce.
California State:
Ages 18-25: Conservation and environmental work program with the California Natural Resources Agency.
Student Assistants: California Department of Parks and Recreation
High School, college, and graduate students can apply to work as student assistants with California State Parks. Each district is different, and students should ask for information from the district they are interested in.
