MDLT Debuts Its New Joshua Tree Headquarters

The building and grounds continue to be a work-in-progress and the Land Trust is seeking input and suggestions for eco-friendly design, materials, implementation and support as they map out a vision for the future of their new space.“We encourage folks to stop by for a chance to see what’s new and share ideas for what’s to come,” says MDLT Executive Director, Danielle Segura, “We’re truly inspired by the significance of this new location – in a wildlife linkage with a view of our Gateway  Parcel Section 33 – and excited to carry forth our mission from a place that accurately reflects and effectively represents our organizational vision and its commitment to the Mojave Desert ecosystem.”The event will include opportunities to tour the building and grounds, share ideas and suggestions, enjoy refreshments, and hear live musical entertainment by Mojave Rhythm (the duo of renowned local musicians, Steve Lester & Bobby Furgo).The headquarters is located at 60124 29 Palms Hwy (at Olympic Rd) in Joshua Tree.For more information, please visit the MDLT website (www.mojavedesertlandtrust.org) or call 760.366.5440.Mojave Desert Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to protect the Mojave Desert ecosystem and its scenic and cultural resource values through acquisition, land stewardship and strategic partnerships.
